DAOM, LAc.,Dipl. OM, Certified Rolfer™, Certified NET Practitioner, Homeopath
Dr. Connie Christie
Dr. Christie is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM), a nationally board- certified Diplomat, a licensed acupuncturist in the state of California, certified Rolfer®, certified N.E.T practitioner and advanced Homeopath student. She has been an eternal learner all her life and since 2001 has focused on holistic medicine and healing. She has always searched for the essence, root or lineage in the course of study, unable to settle for superficial knowledge or a simplistic application.
In the early 2000’s, Rolfing® was Dr. Christie first introduction to a holistic paradigm. Chinese medicine was a natural progression as she desired to treat more conditions from a body-mind perspective.
After 15 years with a full time acupuncture practice treating thousands of patients in various settings, Dr. Christie noted that addressing the emotional and spiritual concerns allowed for deeper more long lasting healing. In 2019, Dr. Christie came across Neural Emotional Technique (NET) as a way to access the subconscious to release emotional and traumatic blocks that hinder complete healing. Attending the training was enlightening as she experienced the process of working through her own emotional blocks. Once these blockages were removed, she describes feeling less burdened and more joyful.. At the same time, Dr. Christie was exploring homeopathy. It resonated so deeply with her that she went back to school to study it full time.
Dr. Christie describes her professional and personal journey as coming full circle. As a teenager she attended a Longevity Expo featuring Dr. Pavlov Airola, who in the 70’s was called “America’s foremost nutritionist”. Each step of her journey to support longevity has furthered the belief that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Holism in more than unity within the body. It is also unity with the universe.
Balancing the body with gravity, rolfing helps us keep our feet firmly planted on the ground which allows our heads reach for the heavens.. Chinese medicine beautifully balances Yin and Yang and supports our Chi at every stage in our lives. NET helps remove energetic, emotional or traumatic stuck patterns. And homeopathy encircles it all to treat each person as a unique human, helping us manifest our unique destiny.
